Station 270 was dispatched........
Station 270 was dispatched to Mcintyre Road Catawissa Township mutual aid to Catawissa for a smoke alarm activation inside a church. Engine 272 and Tanker 274 were due on the box and responded directly to the scene. Upon arrival, crews were informed by IC Chief 50 that the alarm was activating due to exteme heat in the attic area. Chief 50 cancelled all other units enroute and released Station 50 and Station 270 units a short time later.
